	The Mountaineers Many TMRU members got their start with the local Tacoma chapter of the Mountaineers.
	The BoeAlps The BoeAlps is another local club organization furthering the backcountry knowledge of the community. TMRU members are frequent students and instructors.
	Mount Rainier National Park From casual day hikes to challenging alpine routes, Mount Rainier is the icon of Pierce County. TMRU has enjoyed a long, healthy relationship with the park and park rangers.
